Automation

The trench is then back filled and additional concrete is added to stabilise the post and give a good foundation for any brick work. The wiring of extra photocells, intercoms and detection loops may be added at any convenient time.

The Gates are then placed into pre-prepared footings. The trench across drive being dug early morning prior to gates arriving to site.

Electricians providing a 240 volt 6 amp power supply to with in 2 m of control panel.

Garage Doors

Garage door swing or up and over can be automated with keypad or radio remote controls, the same controls can be utilised for the gate entrance.

The gates are delivered pre wired and tested on a steel frame with two types of frame available. The first has exposed posts, and the second with extended hinges and brackets to allow for encasement into brick pillars.

Pre Wired

Power arm

These are a visible arm which are fitted to existing or new gates. The arm is visible unless the gate has been designed to included a panel to hide it.

Underground

Underground systems are more commonly used for larger and new instillation, being slightly more complicated to install than power arms. This system is used for the pre wired instillation explained below.

Controls

A standard 4 button revolving digital code transmitter is common practice combined with keypads intercoms and ground loop detectors.

Gate Automation Units

Gates and Garage door automation is available for existing and new projects, using Ditec equipment. We can install underground or power arm units to gates. Garage door swing or up and over can also be automated.
